TEMBILAHAN, - From the northern tip of Pulau Burung District to the southern tip of Reteh District, coconut plantations are a common sight in Indragiri Hilir Regency.

With 400,000 hectares of coconut plantations, Indragiri Hilir truly deserves the nickname "The Land of the World's Coconut Grove."

In this village, less than an hour from Tembilahan City, the capital of Indragiri Hilir Regency, lush, green coconut plantations stretch out.

It's no surprise, then, that this village was chosen as the location for a field trip at the International Coconut Festival in September 2017.

In this now internationally renowned location, we can witness the traditional life of the Indragiri Hilir coconut farming community.
